Iron City Motorcycles, based in Gateshead, Leeds and South Shields, have welcomed yet another brand into their motorcycle family, the prestigious Kawasaki brand. The Million pound dealership in Gateshead will create a hub for motorcycles enthusiasts across Newcastle and the north of England. Newcastle Kawasaki closed its doors in 2023 and has been re-launched with significant new investment at Iron City Motorcycles prestigious established site in Gateshead.

As a digital first dealer group their new Kawasaki showroom will include; interactive screens, customers will receive personalised video, have access to live online video calls, online customer documents (paperless office) and  be able to purchase online or instore or a combination of both. Iron City Motorcycles intends to bridge the gap between online and offline communications to help build lasting emotional connections and deliver on its promise of outstanding customer service.

In 2022 Opus Harley Davidson rebranded as Iron City Motorcycles and commenced a significant period of growth. New brands have been approved and added to the group's portfolio including KTM, Aprilia, Royal Enfield, Moto Guzzi, Mutt Motorcycles, Husquvarna, Gas Gas and the all electric Livewire. 

Kawasaki’s recently launched Kawasaki Ninja H2 motorcycle and its expanding range of industry leading hybrid motorcycles are a trailblazer for the industry.

The doors to Kawasaki Gateshead will open on 2nd January 2024. The group has planned a season launch event in late March to celebrate & promote its latest acquisition with dates still to be confirmed.
